Solid Waste Management
Who Are We?
The Division of Solid Waste Management is the agency charged with solid waste and recycling planning for Middlesex County.
Our duties include:
- Maintaining and updating the Solid Waste Management Plan
- Staff liaison to the Solid Waste Advisory Council
- Development of strategies to achieve our recycling and waste reduction goals
- Operation of residential programs including household hazardous waste and paper shred events, tire recycling program and compost bin sales.
- Educating residents and businesses on proper recycling and disposal methods.
