Who Are We?

The Division of Solid Waste Management is the agency charged with solid waste and recycling planning for Middlesex County.

Our duties include:

• Maintaining and updating the Solid Waste Management Plan
• Staff liaison to the Solid Waste Advisory Council
• Development of strategies to achieve our recycling and waste reduction goals
• Operation of residential programs including household hazardous waste and paper shred events, tire recycling program and compost bin sales.
• Educating residents and businesses on proper recycling and disposal methods.
