Join the Civic League of Greater New Brunswick for a reading of Secret Engineer: How Emily Roebling Built the Brooklyn Bridge written and illustrated by Rachel Dougherty. After the reading, build your own bridge using recycling! All ages welcome!

Wash and Learn

wash and learn

Select Wednesdays each month 

We are excited to share this innovative bilingual (Spanish-English) program called Wash and Learn. This creative literacy program organized by Roosevelt Elementary School in New Brunswick provides books for children of all ages, as well as adults. All donations are housed at a local laundromat to encourage students to read while parents are doing their laundry.
