Join the Civic League of Greater New Brunswick for a reading of My Name is Georgia: A Portrait by Jeanette Winter. Learn all about the artist Georgia O’Keeffe’s childhood and her extraordinary journey to becoming a great American artist. Use the colorful illustration as inspiration to create your own artwork drawn from objects in your own home or environment. All ages welcome!
Wash and Learn
Select Wednesdays each month
We are excited to share this innovative bilingual (Spanish-English) program called Wash and Learn. This creative literacy program organized by Roosevelt Elementary School in New Brunswick provides books for children of all ages, as well as adults. All donations are housed at a local laundromat to encourage students to read while parents are doing their laundry.
