Art and Story Time: Bees: A Honeyed History

Join the Civic League of Greater New Brunswick in a reading of Bees: A Honeyed History written and illustrated by Piotr Socha and Wojciech Grajkowski.
Explore the history of how honey has been collected and cultivated for thousands of years all over the world through colorfully collaged pages. After learning all about these powerful pollinators, create your own bee collage with scraps you have on hand. All ages welcome!
Wash and Learn
Select Wednesdays each month
We are excited to share this innovative bilingual (Spanish-English) program called Wash and Learn. This creative literacy program organized by Roosevelt Elementary School in New Brunswick provides books for children of all ages, as well as adults. All donations are housed at a local laundromat to encourage students to read while parents are doing their laundry.
