Special School Election

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Middlesex County Board of Elections will make Mail In and Provisional ballot certifications from the March 8th Middlesex Special School Election, available for review by authorized challengers only, on the following dates/times:

Mail In Ballots received by

February 23

9 am – 2 pm

March 4

9 am – 2 pm

March 7

9 am – 2 pm

March 8

9 am – 12 pm

March 11 & 14

(Mail-in Ballot/Provisional)

9 am – 2 pm

 

If you wish to review specific Mail-in and/or Provisional Ballot certifications, please contact the Middlesex County Board of Elections Office at 732-745-3471 at least 24 (Business) hours prior to the dates listed above, to be scheduled for your 2-hour appointment. Each challenged ballot will require the completion of a challenge form which will be provided. Hearing of Mail-in Ballot challenges will occur at a Board Meeting on March 8th at 4:00 pm. Hearing of Post-Election Mail-in Ballot challenges and Provisional Ballot challenges will occur at a Board Meeting on March 14th at 4:00 pm. Public Reviews & Hearings referenced above will be held in Room 100 at the College Center in Middlesex College, 2600 Woodbridge Avenue, Edison, NJ 08837 on the dates and times indicated above.  Stripping of the certification of all ballots not being reviewed/challenged may commence at 9:00 am on each review date. Stripping of the certification and counting of challenged ballots will commence after each hearing date/time. Should you wish to appoint challengers for this Election, please submit your list no later than 4:15 pm two weeks before the election date.
