Information on having a picnic, hosting a special event, or having a wedding in one of our parks.

Many of our developed parks offer picnic facilities that may be reserved for picnics and special events. A reservation permit must be issued to reserve these areas for all organized group activities.

Picnic Groves

If you are looking to book a picnic in one of our parks, please allow a minimum of two to four weeks when scheduling use of facilities. It may be useful to review the Frequently Asked Questions for picnics as well as the three worksheets below for more information about the picnic areas and the new electronic reservation system. All picnic reservations will be done on our new Electronic Picnic Grove Reservations System.

If you plan on having a caterer, additional permits are required.

Special Events

Those wishing to book a special event or walk must first contact the reservation desk to establish park availability. You will then be asked to download a request form which is attached below. All permits must be paid for and signed by the individual in charge of the event.

Rent a Showmobile or Farmwagon

The showmobiles and farmwagon are portable stages that can be rented for your event and are available for Middlesex County locations only. Insurance is required in order to rent a showmobile or farmwagon. View more information and details on the showmobile and farmwagon rentals.
