In 2017, Middlesex County embarked on a game-changing journey with the launch of its brand inclusive of logo, official color palette, and brand narrative that would be the base of an ongoing, multi-channel awareness campaign through advertising. Considered a vanguard and disruptor in the space of government administration, the County was the first in New Jersey to deploy a marketing initiative of this magnitude that would create a new brand identity, perception, and a unifying image that spans its jurisdiction of 25 municipalities with over 863,000 residents. The brand launch is the strategic cornerstone to a future-forward vision to drive economic growth in central New Jersey.
Driven by innovation since the 1700s, Middlesex County is an ideal location for tapping into key resources and attracting a diverse, highly-skilled workforce. In fact, the County boasts one of the most educated workforces in the U.S. with over 45% of residents holding a Bachelor’s degree or higher. Consistently recognized for its highly-ranked educational institutions—from the Middlesex County Magnet Schools and Middlesex College to Rutgers University—the County plays a pivotal role in workforce development to meet the demands of tomorrow.
