Park Facilities
The Office of Parks & Recreation offers a host of programs and maintains a number of recreational facilities to be enjoyed throughout the year.
Facilities
Conservation & Open Space Stewardship
This division is responsible for the maintenance and improvement of the 32 conservation areas and preserves which encompass over 7,500 acres.
Disc Golf
An 18-hole championship disc golf course located in Thompson Park in Monroe.
Dog Parks
Explore Off-Leash Dog Parks in Edison, Highland Park and Monroe Township.
Family Skating Rink
Ice and Roller Skating is avaliable at the outdoor Family Skating Rink in Roosevelt Park in Edison.
Fishing
Learn about where you can fish in Middlesex County Parks and what types of fish you can find there.
Fitness Trails
Enjoy the scenery and develop your total fitness with our outdoor fitness courses.
Paddling Trail
Self-Guided Paddling Trail on the Helmetta Pond in Jamesburg Conservation Area
Golf Courses
Visit one of the scenic County Golf Courses which are maintained and managed by the Middlesex County Improvement Authority.
Rent a Showmobile or Farmwagon
Get information on renting a Showmobile or Farmwagon for your event occuring within Middlesex County.
Take a Hike
Get more information on the miles of natural surface trails in the open space properties or the paved paths in our more developed parks. Either way, go out and "Take a Hike!"
