The Middlesex County Center for Empowerment is offering a free training program for residents to become Confidential Sexual Violence Advocates. Anyone over 18 can apply for the training.
Training will be online and will start on March 1st and end on March 29th, Tuesday and Thursday evenings 5:30pm – 8pm and Saturday 9 am – 2:30pm.
The training will prepare individuals to answer the Center’s 24-hour hotline and provide in-person support to survivors of sexual violence at police stations, hospitals and courts in Middlesex County. Volunteer and paid opportunities will be available after the training has been completed.
