Join us for August’s First Friday at Monument Square! August includes National Left Hander’s Day and is National Black Owned Business Month, National Dog Month, and National Family Fun Month — we have something for everyone!

In honor of National Left Hander’s Day we are giving all “southpaws” the advantage! Above Arts Studio will take guests through a painting ― but artists can ONLY use their left hand! There will be prizes for the judges' three favorite creations! Bring your pooch for tasty dog treats from Barking Good Bakery and the kick-off of NBPAC’s Yappy Hour! A face painter, caricature artists, and DJ will be onsite to provide some family fun ― but really fun for everyone! We welcome businesses, but especially our Black-owned businesses, to make a reservation to set up a table or share what you do!
