Do you know what to look for at a crime scene? This program is designed to give patrol officers an overview on how to analyze a crime scene.
Not every crime scene will warrant the response of a specialized unit to process the scene, so what can you do? Limited resources have shifted the responsibility of documenting crime scenes to patrol officers, but do they know what to look for?
This class teaches officers how to evaluate a crime scene to determine areas and items of evidentiary value. In addition, officers will learn what to look for while investigating assaults, domestic violence incidents, sexual assaults, burglaries, robberies, and other common offenses. If a scene is compromised, so is the case!
