The gardening group will allow survivors of sexual violence to learn how to plant vegetables, herbs, and flowers in our on-site garden (Center for Empowerment in Edison). Throughout this group, clients will work with Center for Empowerment Staff and a horticultural therapist to tend to the garden and learn coping skills such as mindfulness, self-soothing, creative expression, and resiliency.
