Plays-in-the-Park Weather Policy
Our policy on show cancellations during inclement weather cannot be set in stone as there are many considerations to juggle and the weather is, at best, unpredictable. That said, here's what we try to do:
We do not cancel any show due to the anticipation of inclement weather. Depending upon the length of a show, we can sometimes "hold" the curtain until as late as 8:15 pm and so if the situation is one of "isolated" or "scattered" rainfall we will try to wait until the last possible minute. Even a light mist can ruin sound and lighting equipment, as well as the musician's instruments. Heavy downpours are dangerous to fleeing patrons and actors who could slip on the wet stage.
In situations where the rain has been steady all day and the Doppler radar shows more to come, we will be forced to cancel. Unfortunately, there are no reliable means of getting the information on a canceled show to the public, so if you are traveling a good distance, we suggest waiting until the predication is favorable.
Bottom line: We cannot predict the weather. If you are concerned about the weather, it may be better to schedule your visit when clear skies are predicted.
Official Rainouts
The following dates were official rainouts. If you have a ticket stub from any performances listed below, you may use them by exchanging the stub at the box office for a new ticket. Rain checks/canceled shows are valid up to one year from the date of issue and can be used for any of our summer performances.
The Rain Check Line will open 3 minutes after the Box Office line opens. Only one chair is allowed for each Rain Check stub.

Raincheck Policy:
Should it rain during a performance, we may need to cancel the show for the safety of the audience, actors, technicians, and musicians. However, if you save your ticket stub, you may use it to attend any future summer performance up to a year later, at no additional charge. You do not have to wait in the ticket buyer's line; there will be a special window or table set up where you can immediately exchange your stub for a new ticket on the night you decide to revisit us. The rain check line will open three minutes after the box office opens. There is only one chair allowed for each rain check ticket stub. The stub is only good for the summer shows. They are not valid for the children's musicals or "Joseph."
