Outpatient Department

The Outpatient Department at the George J. Otlowski, Sr. Center for Mental Health Care is dedicated to treating psychiatric and emotional problems that affect children, adolescents, and adults. The department offers a full spectrum of treatment options to clients in need of mental health services, including individual, group, and family counseling, who can benefit from short-term, solution-oriented psychotherapy. Longer-term psychotherapy is also available if the client and treatment team deem it is necessary.

A highly qualified staff, including licensed clinical social workers and licensed professional counselors administer services. Graduate school interns also work in the Outpatient Department. Treatment modalities, diagnosis, and areas of specialty include group, family, and individual counseling; cognitive behavioral therapy; sexual abuse and trauma treatment; depression (including post-partum depression); anxiety, substance abuse; and family and relationship issues.
