Holidays

If your collection day falls on one of the designated Holidays, your recycling pick up will be moved to the upcoming Saturday of that week. Please place your recycling at the curb by 6 am on that Saturday morning. Designated Holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.


Snow/Weather Emergencies

Service will be postponed during major snow/weather events. If service is postponed on your day of pick up, it will be done on the upcoming Saturday of that week. You should place your recycling out at the curb by 6am on that Saturday. If the snow event is not a major event pick up may still be done on your regular day of collection. If you are unsure, please contact your local Department of Public Works to inquire if service is postponed. You may also check this website for any postponement of service.

It is advised that all location information, including materials accepted and hours of operation, should be confirmed by making a telephone call prior to visiting the location.
