Bring Our Programs to You  

Our educational programs are appropriate for all ages. From elementary school students to adults in senior homes, our programs cover a variety of topics and time periods.

  • ‘Lenape Myth and Culture’ – Learn about the indigenous people of New Jersey.
  • ‘Medicine and Surgery of the American Revolution’ - A colonial-era physician exhibits 18th century surgical instruments and discusses medical care and epidemics of the 18th century and the American Revolution.
  • ‘Life Aboard a Civil War Ironclad’ - Get a glimpse of what it was like to serve on the U.S.S. Weehawken, an ironclad warship built in Jersey City, New Jersey. See ships plans, examine a reproduction uniform of a U.S. Navy sailor, and see a scale model of the ironclad. 
  • 'Civil War Medicine and Surgery’ - A Surgeon from a New Jersey regiment exhibits Civil War-era surgical instruments and discusses medical care, diseases, hospitals, and battlefield surgeries.
