Tennis/Pickleball Courts
Tennis courts do not require reservations and are available on a first come / first served basis. After 7 pm between May 1 and October 29, anyone who wishes to play on a court that has lights must be in possession of an evening play pass. This pass must be visible at all times while playing.
A tennis pass does not reserve court time. When others are waiting, courts times are limited: singles 1 hour, doubles 2 hours.
Pickleball follows the NEXTuP Pickleball Paddle Rack Rotation System Winners stay on court for a maximum of 2 games together. The winning team can stay on court after the 2nd game but must split the team to continue playing. Games end when one side has 11 points, win by 2.
If there are more than 8 players waiting, the waiting players remain outside of fenced-in area. Each player plays 1 game. All 4 players come off court after each game and 4 new players enter the court.
Waiting players use paddle rack/fence to determine order of play. If you wish to play with a specific player, you can move your paddle down but not forward in the wait line.
Do not hold courts - if you are not using the court, please relinquish it to other players ready to play.
All Tennis/Pickleball Court lights go off at 10 pm.
Children under 12 years of age:
- must be accompanied by an adult.
- must apply for a pass from the reservation office.
Pickleball courts are available at Thompson Park, Donaldson Park and Warren Park.
