Who We Are Senior Hands

The Office of Aging & Disabled Services is the state-designated area agency on aging to advocate, plan, coordinate, and provide area-wide programs and services for senior citizens and disabled persons residing in the County. The office serves as the connecting link between County government, state government, and local communities in the development of various programs and initiatives.


Middlesex County Aging and Disability Resource Connection (ADRC) 

The office is the recognized lead agency for ADRC (Aging and Disability Resource Connection), the statewide system that coordinates access to services, care management, and support services for seniors and the disabled. The office is responsible for taking the lead in providing information, referral and assistance to seniors, the disabled, their caregivers, provider agencies, and the general public who need to obtain services in the County.

The Aging & Disabled Resource Directory is a directory of various services and agencies for older adults (60+), individuals with disabilities (18+), and Caregivers within Middlesex County. Active Daily Living

The Middlesex County Active Daily Living Senior and Caregiver Information and Newsletter helps older adults and their family caregivers by providing free, personalized advice to enhance health, independence, and aging-in-place.


Needs Assessment Survey

The Needs Assessment Survey's purpose is to gather valuable data on the service needs of older adults (60+), disabled persons (18+), and their caregivers to further assist their needs. It will help identify existing and potential needs and existing resources, as well as unmet needs, under-utilized services, and barriers that may prevent access to available services. Prosecutor’s Office Special Needs Registry

The Office of the Prosecutor has launched its Special Needs Registry program. Click here for details.

Middlesex County Special Needs Registry (SNR) is a no cost, voluntary service open to any individuals with special needs who reside, work, or attend school in Middlesex County. The purpose of the registry is to help law enforcement and first responders better assist special needs residents in an emergency situation or a police encounter. The registry provides crucial information regarding a registrant’s special needs, i.e., physical or mental impairment, emergency contact information, physical description, and current photograph.
