The Middlesex County law enforcement community has introduced a drug addiction recovery assistance program called BLUE CARES with a mission to help individuals afflicted with substance use disorder/addiction by utilizing community partners to most effectively treat and prevent drug addiction, while promoting lasting recovery and fighting perceived stigma.

BLUE CARES is facilitated by the State of New Jersey Office of the Attorney General's Helping Hands program.
