Our Information and Assistance staff is available Monday through Friday, from 8:30 am to 4:15 pm. Our staff will complete a brief intake to determine what programs you may be eligible for, and will answer any questions you may have.
How do I apply for the Meals-on-Wheels program?
The Senior Meal Program provides home-delivered meals to isolated, homebound seniors who have no formal or informal caregiver and are unable to attend a congregate meal program. An initial intake form is completed and processed to screen eligible residents for the program. The Senior Meal Program operates Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm. How do I find someone to assist me with questions about Medicare?
The State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP) provides one-on-one counseling to Medicare beneficiaries. Certified counselors assist with questions related to Medicare, explanation of Medicare benefits, supplemental insurances, claims/billing issues, and appeals. Counselors also assist with prescription drug programs, including choosing Part D plans, screening for other Rx programs, and completing applications.
