The Fire Bureau under the Office of Emergency Management is responsible for the response and coordination of large-scale incidents that require multiple fire resources. Fire Coordinators support the Incident Commander, provide additional resources through mutual aid coordination, and serve in various roles of the incident command structure when needed. The Bureau consists of experienced and qualified volunteer staff from local municipalities within the County of Middlesex.
